Still on the BMW AUC search. Why has nobody bought it yet?
It will appear until it is delivered to the new owner.

Yes.
The dealer does not remove it from the website until the customer has picked it up.

Any thoughts on why they pushed it out so cheap?

I've been checking their other cars and their prices are fairly mid range.

just been speaking to someone in the trade and they have said the Z4 M coupes are not selling and he has had 2 sat on his forecourt for nearly 8 months not good.

He also said he has just brought 2 Z4 M roadsters with 8k miles on the clock for 18k each!!!

I suggest your mate is talking out of his rear!

No dealer would keep a car for 8 months and they are fetching loads more than that, if he is a main dealer then he probaly got those packaged up with a couple of 7 series which owe mega money, so when all the cars are adjusted they will owe him the correct figure.

Or he has just purchased two Cat D sters hehe

In the spirit of a true Z4 M owner....don't worry about the depreciation just go enjoy!!!!

Depreciation over a year - prob around 10k pounds
Car tax (thanks Darling) - 400 pounds
Cost of new tyres - 500 pounds a year or so

Insane smile as you go round every corner and ability to control the music volume with your right foot - priceless

£18k does seem extreme. No one seems to understand why they are not selling.... I was offered an ex demo today Jan 08 car with 5500 miles on it for £29k nav, premium sound, bluetooth, PDC, cruise and the dealer was encouraging me to make him an offer on the car - I seriously reckon £27.5k and the car would be mine! I think £400 tax bracket (absolute P!ss take - I only drive 5 miles to work!) has a bearing. For some reason this car is double the cost of my 993 to insure. It has the restriction of 2 seats.

So why the hell do I still want one so much?

I'd expect a dealer to put at least 5k on a car. That's what they have done or tried to do to me in the past. BMW private auctions all cars go for silly money. However they don't retail at that price..lol

Well I can tell you that it's a good deal less to insure than my M3. I got money back on my insurance.

I think the fact that you can now buy a two-year old Porsche Cayman S for under £30k is not helping Z4MC values.

i seriously looked at those myself, however when you really weigh it up your not comparing apples with apples, its a much older, slower, un-warrantied and underspeced Cayman for the same money!

Deprecation aside it just demonstrates what great value the Z4M is at the mo.... the cheaper you can get one the better i say, its a great car, sure it'll loose a bunch of money but then what doesn't?

That is cheap, but why would you advertise it so cheap? If something seems to good to be true it probably is.

It's older than the original car in this thread, done more miles, private sale... doesn't look *that* good value or notably cheap in comparison.
