'thought you'd like this one:

I wouldn't mind it so much on an S 1000 RR, but on a K series with a top case...

What really baffles me is people with M Cars that then decide to put an M badge on the grill?

Why? I saw this crime (it's not like you haven't got an M car!) on an M6 and an E46 M3.

Just bonkers

Spotted this one last week on the family holiday (with the M5 as family transport of course!) .. In fact my young lad mentioned there was an 'M' on that car as we passed in the dark as he had clocked it earlier (he's good at that now lol smile

How about people thatmake thier cars look like m cars...i saw what looked like a nice black v10 m5 it went from the liights and all i heard was a waft and a hiss. Bit strange, go home check the plates is a 535d.

Surely the guy must know that the only people that will notice his m5 will be people into cars who will also know the difference between a v10 and a tractor engine.

Ha ha, mine sounds like a tractor in tickover..

At a small local car show recently, I started up my car to straighten the wheels and some yoofs from the Focus club who were drooling over my mates M3 parked next to me, asked him "Is that a 520d with a body kit". He laughed and replied "maybe you should ask him".........they didn't. laugh

That was in our village last week, something wrong with the suspension as it's really creaky. The lack of quad pipes is the biggest giveaway

There's one in my town, a 525, with M5 badges, quad pipes with only two working and M5 panels.

Saw one at my Indy garage; 530d, stuck on side grilles (appalling!) that I assume were meant to look like M5 ones, wonky pipes, naff fake wheels. A proper travesty of a car.

I see so many grille M badges now, I can't even be bothered to wince/laugh.

Its actually a shame that the new M cars are coming with grille mounted M badges. M6 and new M4! Audi did it from the start with the RS range so that looks normal. Are AMG going to start this fad?

Small defense of soot chuckers (the only M on my 335d is on the BMW badges); unless broken, you won't see any smoke.
