Looks like BMW with the LCI M6 has had a radical rethink.

Just looked at the BMW UK site, you can once again configure an M6 and unless my eyes deceive me it has got significantly cheaper.

On the road price for the GC is now £94740, it was £98125

Now comes with full leather as standard, upgraded choices are now £2995 instead of the ridiculous £5635

M Multifunctional seats are now a zero cost option were £1865

There are a few other minor reductions on other options as well.

If the previous deals with regard discounts stay in place this is great news.

Interesting to see what will happen with AUC cars now as previously they were expensive compared to new, surely they must plummet now?

I guess you're looking to buy a second hand one?

No, new is my preference as AUC are too expensive and I think will remain so plus nothing to my exact spec so could wait forever. Been keeping an eye on things for a while but end first quarter/start second quarter of this year always my target, just happened to coincide with the upgrade.

Did not expect BMW to reduce prices in-fact quite the opposite, as said remains to be seen if discounts remain.

I came really close to pulling the trigger on a remaining 2014 model this last week. Thankfully I faltered but was planning on doing so this coming week. Like many, I was disappointed with the minor LCI changes, but full leather as standard (which makes a huge difference to the interior feel of the car) and the M seats included mean that I am excited about the LCI. I would have been v annoyed if I had taken the non-updated model (with full leather at £5k) with a discount when the discount can be had on new models through the raised spec and lower list price.

If the 0% deal is ongoing I will have an oder placed by next weekend. May be able to stretch to CCBs now too.

I completely agree. I'm seriously considering ordering new as the AUC cars seem overpriced relative to new prices achievable.

If you are using finance, a new car will be considerably cheaper to buy than a used one.

I won't be financing but surely only a mad man would pay the 10.9% on the AUC cars. If you need/want to finance it surely a loan with realistic apr is a better option.

Good spot. Shame all the 'individual' colours they had in the 2015 pre-marketing stuff hasn't made it's way into the configurator.

A shame they didn't make 4-zone climate standard to give parity with the M5 - a bugbear of mine.

Pricing is definitely different - my fully specced m6 gc struggles to break 100k - i think it was about 114k before.

If they give me 0% and a 30k discount off 100k then it'd make it affordable for me - who wants to be the first to try :P

Has anyone got any updates of the amount of BMW/dealer contribution you can expect on a new M6?

I would be looking at a PCP deal & 0%.

Just got a quote on a M5 at retail price from my local dealership (nothing specced just standard with June delivery) £70,544.53p

£6k deposit

47x £852.92

£24.457.50 final payment.

Any better deals out there?

If you're talking M5's not M6's... I just bought one with a number of options (£79k list) for £6k down and £722/month on 4 years 0%. Standard spec was available for £6k down and £650/month. PM me if you want more info. We're still in the same quarter.

I think the Peter Vardy deal is a bit better, same deposit but better works out £648pm. http://www.petervardyedinburghbmw.co.uk/cars/bmw-m...
I called my local dealer who were willing to match it, so you could try that.

Still torn between an M5 and a Cayman GTS. Test driving both this weekend, hopefully that will help me make up my mind.

New M6 seems to come with all desirable options now, I only managed to add £1k to the base price.

M6 finance offer at 0% APR + £20k deposit contribution still on the website.

Great bargain to be had??

A few months ago someone said here (or on another forum, can't recall now) that they worked for BMW and the contribution was going to be about £3k less for the facelift than it was previously. I can't remember what it was before though - about £18k wasn't it?

Christ... I hope they lubed you up before hand.

On the BMW website they are freely advertising £7,300 off list price without the need for any negotiation. Peter Vardy are offering a £12k contribution on the M5 and would suspect you could push most dealers to match this.

Just specced one up £104K with Service pack, silly money as I paid £73K for the same car.
They must give some huge discounts to temp people IMO.

Thanks for the replies!

Does anyone know of any dealers with cars in stock as I'm ready to go?

Just over 15k off an M5 is doable. Not sure what the q2 offers will be though?

I cannot understand why you would put any deposit down on a 0% deal... Surely you can get a better than 0% return on a 6K investment?

John, didn't you get a "special" discount on your 73K M6? I don't think that would be achievable without some additional BMW UK contribution?

Its a lose-lose whatever you decide to do, according to the WBAC value of my M6 if Id put down 25K equivalent deposit that money would have simply disappeared now in depreciation in the space of less than 2 months, or putting it another way if I had financed the full value I paid on the 0% deal I would now have a car with over 20-25K negative equity on it.

Fantastic car and all but just be aware of this if you change cars regularly before the end of the finance deal duration
