Well, it's not really sticking, it's just too stiff for my liking. It makes heel and toe tricky cos I have to be braking real hard in order to get a good platform for blipping the throttle. Is there any way that I can make the throttle pedal lighter so it needs less force to press it?

Common problem this one.Easy to fix though.
It needs a new throttle cable from BMW,around 20 quid i think.

I've just replaced my cable, fitted braided brake and clutch hoses, can't wait to pick the car up on Saturday and see how fresh all the controls feel.

wd40 down the the cable sheath that runs through the bulkhead worked a treat on mine.

the pedal had been stiff from the day i bought it and i had became accustomed to it. i had to get used to the new throttle feel once oiled!
