So just pulled the trigger on a new M2. Am I mad?!
Discussion
As the author of the original post it was a little surprising that some people feel the need to comment on my use of language and not the underlying post.
In my professional life I’m quite the stickler for the appropriate use of language/grammar but a little more relaxed on social media, texts etc.
I don’t recall walking into the Porsche specialist and asking to ‘chop in’ my 911 nor telling the Sales Executive at BMW that I’m ready to ‘pull the trigger’ on the M2 but I suspect you know that.
The ‘clever remarks/responses’ are more symptomatic of the times we live in I suppose where keyboard warriors feel empowered to give you the benefit of their wisdom. I suspect they’d be a little more respectful & polite face to face. If my comments bother you then feel free to ignore my post and move on without comment.
Thank you for all the positive comments and genuine replies. I’m enjoying the car but it does seem very thirsty and with quite a small tank. Apart from that very pleased so far.
Happy New Year.
