Cat C 2005 M5

Just seen a Cat C M5 2005. I know about the categories and risks associated having owned and sold a cat D car.

Thoughts on buying. BMW inspection??

It looks to be up at 10-15% less than book.

Grateful for any views. Have a DB7 Vantage right now and need something a bit less cramped!

It's up at £30k which is way too much. I haven't yet had confirmation of what the damage was but reading some of the M5 price posts on here, I don't think it's a goer unless I get really stupid money for my Vantage. Thanks all ur help.

Quite right all - gave it a big miss and went back to a facelift M3 SMG cab with CSL alloys, immaculate and fully loaded - what a result - love it. Thanks for all the advice.
