I also use RFconcepts bullet cams. Have had 2 of them almost 5 years now and use them on the bike too (velcro'd to the top of my lid gives great wheelie pics without incriminating speed showing!! Lol) They have worked perfectly even when riding or driving in heavy rain! They are the 480 TV line Sony ones with the standard lenses (did try the wide angle lense but it makes it look like you are camped on the bumper of the car in front! Lol) . Am in the process of setting up a multiplexer to give pic in pic which should be good. That way I can have the front facing image as the main, with rear facing pic imbedded! Will probably end up hard-wiring two cams in the CSL as I intend keeping it, and it will save all the setup time.

Nice lap Curly! I make that an 8min 7 sec lap, very respectable considering the leg in plaster, shame I couldn't make it!!

John,

Are those standard 18" M3 wheels you're running on track and what tyres have you been using if so? Thinking of this myself and running Dunlop DZ02's as I had the D10J's on my M3 GT and they've been very impressive.

Hiya oola
When im at the ring I only use 19" CSL wheels and cups but you are right I have got a set of 18" old M3 wheels for track days when i have chance to fit them. The reason 18" opens up a lot more tyre options, I have used all makes on them and also slicks whatever part worns i can get cheap. As you know a set of cups are about a grand, Ive not tried the Dunlops you spoke about but I heard really good reports on them I would love to try a set when they get cheap enough

John,

Thanks for that! Exactly the same as what I was thinking, 18's open up a whole range of tyres which arn't availabe on 19's including the Dunlops. Also you're right about the price, the Dunlops are quite pricey at about £900 and Cups are available at same price if you shop around. I think the Toyo R888's are about £600 for all 4 which is good value!

Cheers
