13,000-miler shortly for sale!
Discussion
Not to be rude, but it's over priced, as are many
Not that many people have 33K cash and so prefer to buy from a dealer, which also comes with a bit more piece of mind and different financing options.
You’re selling privately so are not going to command dealer money without any of the benefits of buying retail
That’s the reason why your car remains unsold.
Good luck with your sale
Regards

Except that it has a full factory warranty until September, MOT the same, plus MOT insurance. So it is the same as buying from a dealer anyway.
It has under 13,000 miles, which makes it one of the lowest mileage rhd examples on earth.
So i have to disagree about being over priced. It most certainly is not.
The car was £58,500 new and £33,500, in virtually as new condition, is actually a great buy.
If you don't think so, take a look at the 36,000 mile example being sold by approved used BMW for much more than i am asking.
36,000 miles---£36,000. (Might get it for £34,500 with haggling, admittedly).
12,700 miles---£33,500.
Do the maths!

If the car is as good as the description then it is certainly not overpriced. The problem when selling privately is most buyers simply do not have the cash. They rely on loans with balloon payments, its not that they would rather buy from a main dealer, its normally they have no choice.

I guess you are right mate, in general.
Anyhow, the good news is that 12 phone calls since i dropped the price, has resulted in the first person who came to see the car AND could afford it, bought it, without a second's thought.
It was excellent value at £33,500.
Gone!
May you have many an enjoyable journey in a fantastic car, mate!

Hadn't you better sort out the ebay auction. I thought this was your car?

Over £31,000 currently, only half way through the auction, with 35 people watching and 16 bids, tells me i would have got £33,500 dead easy, via E Bay.
It was superb value, overpriced would have been £37K.

Probably not mate, 35 people watching don't mean 35 potential buyers. I have tried to sell a few cars via eBay and have always found that the first few days there is quiet a lot of bidding, then the final few days feck all. Always the same pattern people know there not going to get it for 30k or 31k but that don't stop them from having a punt.

Says CSL owner with an aim to keep Values high??????
says a forum troll with nothing better to do than talk prices down on either Porsche or BMW! The poor guy was just trying to sell his car FFS.
The car is worth what people are prepared to pay and his fair sale proves it. And yes I am another CSL owner and am 100% happy to be driving around in a car even if you think it is overpriced.

Keep your hair on Mr angry, lol
It was over priced, that's why when he put the price down from £35500 to 33500 he got more calls and interest and eventually sold it for a more reasonable sum, hardly rocket science is it?
I think you should expect to pay less in a private sale than when you buy from a dealer, when you come to sell your car you’ll find this out.
Regards
Don't worry mate - my hairs gone after worrying about depreciation LOL.
your comments were made after he reduced his price though Mr Scientist.
I'd agree it is a sensitive market which appeals only to the more hardcore enthusiast but he's selling in prime time (start of the trackday period), the depreciation curve is less severe now and from my experience of cars I looked at/kept an eye on, his was definitely a better sounding one.
