I'm bored of you now

Still think it's was over priced, most cars are 32K,

You where lucky and the guy who bought it over payed

Main Dealer prices don't mean shit in the world of private sales, can you not get this through your head.

Basically, you are WRONG. Get over it.

LOL, makes you look really good, that bit

Seems you’re the internet version of David Brent, good luck with that
wavey

whereas your "I'm Bored with you now" comment makes you look even better eh?

Try listening to what people (CSL owners or not) are saying - just the same as Porsche etc you buy on condition and what the car is worth compared to the others out there in the marketplace. If you can't afford the car then fair enough - stick with your nice depreciation-loving beetle and spend the beer money on a spoiler or something.

Uh?
Where did he say the CSL was worth more or the same as your car (Cayman S assuming....)?

You obviously don't know whether you are coming or going in this debate.......Pretty much like the Cayman S, you are well suited.

Mate, that's the only post you've made on this thread that hasn't been silly, in one way or another.
Chill out, enjoy whatever car you've got, but accept that no amount of down-talking the CSL will have the slightest affect on their prices or owners' opinions.
I don't have an axe to grind, because i am no longer an owner, but the CSL is one of the best buys you will find, for the money they are fetching.

Things like the Cayman S, or say the non-charged 997 Carrera S at almost £80K ARE overpriced imo!

lots more caymans on the road than CSLs so prices will drop a lot quicker. CSL will be more desirable and rarer that's for sure. they need to lighten the cayman or put a decent lump in it as it could easily manage 400 bhp and it might be a true match for the CSL then.

the S is a nice car as mate of mine on here, Pikey has one and it was impressive at the ring with the CSL in tow.

But he's only telling the truth.

The CSL will hold its value far better than a Cayman (or Boxster, or most Carrera's). The problem, or lack of problems, is there problem. If you get what I mean. Because they are engineered so well & so cheap to run, loads of people have then. Porsche's philosophy is sell as many as possible (hence why is so wealthy). The 996GT3RS was the last Porsche to have that 'desirability' & hence will probably hold up well.

I'd love a CSL one day, as I'd love a GT3RS. Unfortunately I bought a Boxster S cry

Who cares, I didn't post on here to get in to a Pissing competition about various cars. I’m at a loss as to why the information was offered in the first place, probably purchase justification.

And you telling us that your dad is bigger than whoever's dad, and that you seem to have a sleep problem has what relevancy?

To sum this thread up, you believe that all CSL's priced at over 32k are over priced. You don't have anything to back this belief up apart from seeing a few CSL's advertised on the internet up at roughly this price. You don't want to listen to anyone telling you differently even though these people actually know what they are talking about as they have looked into purchasing CSL's themselves.

It's like me saying that your car which presumably is a Cayman as you haven't denied it, is worth more than a CSL. That maybe so at the moment, but roles reversed, I could tell you that I've seen a few Caymans going for low to mid 30k, so anything over that amount is overpriced. It sounds complete irrational nonsense doesn't it? Unfortunately that's how you're coming across whether you intend to or not. I haven't seen these cars in the flesh myself, but being realistic, I can imagine what condition they are in.

By all means advise someone that if they want a quick sale then advertise it at x amount as you know vehicles sell quite easily at that price. However, don't argue the toss with people to what a vehicle is actually worth if you don't really know.

Bumcrack is either a complete, mindless idiot, or a rather clever wind-up merchant, i suspect the former.
He has a very apt sign-in name.

Cayman. Snoozemobile, compared to a CSL, that's why we see all the zzzzzzs in his posts?

Condemned hardly, by a bunch of beemer owners who only want to talk up prices, but seem quite happy to post a load of clobbers about my car, even though they didn't know what it was at the start of this discussion, in some sort of silly tit-for-tat agreement regarding possible deprecation in the future , now that's churlish. SOooo rich coming from CSL owners, a car generally recognised as completely over priced when new, hence the reason why values dropped like a stone as soon as it rolled of the forecourt. All this because I dare to suggest their cars not worth what they think, please get a grip and remove head from arse!!!

I couldn't care less what the owners of the fastest deprecation M3's ever produced thought.

PS. I'll add you to the list of poster who made the user name commment, your number 58, just after Beemer5 at number 57
