Nothing to worry about.
They were supplied by dealers, but not at the point of delivery. They were supplied as an after thought on popular demand by owners. Not everyone liked em or fitted em. Frankly, they are not great quality and were not numbered to match the car.
If you're bothered and very lucky, some dealers may have one hidden in a drawer, but i doubt it. If not, they come up very occasionally and expensively on fleabay.

They sell from anything between £50 to £150...yes one did go for that. Never worth it but I will say from experience most buying expect to see it on the car.
