In winter garb - lost the red nose, gained the Zunsport
That actually looks very cool on the steel wheels!

Hi Hr
Chap was selling the steels s/h... somewhere oop north £40 + £20 p&p
Cost, roughly, another £20(ish) to refurb.
May pick up a spare set of nuts and add some colour without attracting too much attention... having had yoof feef my colourful dust caps when visiting friends in Runcorn [lesson learned]
and
thank you, Raffles.
I really wasn't sure if it'd work but i'm pleased with the result and with the decision to go matt rather than shiney smile

The tyres are, so far, doing their thing as well
Only spinning or sliding has been provoked by me

Its a Matt finish, there's even a heat gun shown in the first picture to warm it up while fitting wink

Not saying it looks bad or anything, but calling it carbon is a bit misleading

I'm glad you asked, as I was thinking the same as you tongue out

But.. OP claims it's a real carbon bonnet.

Yes on both counts.. or thereabouts anyway smile The sky illumination is natural, but I did push the colour hue over to pink/purple from orange. The light source is a bike light/bright torch in a small DIY softbox

I'm pleased to hear you like it smile
Cool, I might give that a go, if it is half as good a yours I'll be seriously impressed.

Added you on Flickr too.
