Hi, mine's all undone and ready to lift out to be sprayed but i'm not sure if i will do mine body coloured or silver then lacquered for a high shine, going to do inlet manifold too. Need to buy new gaskets ready for the refit though.
Your induction? did you do yourself or was it on when you had car? Don't they need fettling to fit? What is needed?
Also ltd012, nice to hear another is still alive and with miniscule mileage too. Pics would be good?
The wheels IMO are a pain to get done, depending on severity of corrosion they'll cost a bit per wheel. Mine are now chrome powdercoated, do not do this! i regret it and i think the refurb place i took them to tucked me up a bit by claiming that they had tried extensively to refurb them as they should've bben out of factory but in all honestly i think they just wanted an easier/quicker/cheaper alternative. Still cost me £100 a corner but i don't like them now. I missed out on a corroded yet original spare set on ebay last year. Wish i'd bid higher!!

Here's one from a few years ago in Ireland. The wheels look more dirty now. In fact, so much dirt and brake pad dust that I think it has saved from some corrosion. The guy who replaced my hood last summer tried a little Autosol polish and was amazed when they came up so clean. I did look suitably embarrassed and so this is now a priority for me. I might even contemplate buying new wheels so I can get these refurbed.
I just bought number 127! In very 'honest' condition and separated from the BBSs by her previous owners (though I could be about to put that right.
A few pics at the link - having a number of issues sorted at the moment.

Just revisited this topic to check any updates and noticed that pics I posted via Photobucket was removed accidentally during a photobucket reorganisation of albums exercise. Also wanted to check out with any BRG LE owners regarding original soft top colour -I thought it was black vinyl when new but have been told it was tan - any ideas ? Have also re-posted a few pics of car in current condition following a bit of detailing.

Definitely black hood, my dad has had one for years but it also has the official bbr turbo pack from new so it must be a limited, limited edition!
He still has the original wheels but prefers these for cleaning..
Looking great and you are correct in the 'limited limited' status - thanks for the confirmation on the hood . What number is your dad's LE ?He still has the original wheels but prefers these for cleaning..
