Here's my Mk2 1.8S

That looks fantastic smokin I see from another thread you've got some cheapy ebay suspension, how far did it drop the car if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks - I'd say that was probably an 80mm drop. It had settled so was even lower but it was catching on everything, it now sits around an inch highert than in that photo so I would say around a 60mm drop from standard.

Lovely Pics
Every time I see that car I just think it looks fantastic, any chance you could list a full spec of whats been done to it? Also where did you get that front bumper, is it part of a bodykit?
Thanks! Ok here goes, rough spec off the top of my head -

The cars a 1994 S-Special 1.8 Eunos, brilliant Black. S-Spec bits are Nardi interior, strut brace, Torsen Diff, nicer doorcards etc. Its also got -

MazdaSpeed A-spec type 2 bumper
Enkei RP-02 (IIRC) from the JDM NR-A Mk2 Track-style special edition
Ohlins Suspension
HKS 4-2-1 Manifold, MX5parts decat and full exhaust (was full HKS superdrager when I bought it, fell to bits though), its LOUD
K&N style intake
Cusco (I think) Roll bar/style bar
Random shiny bits for interior, gear surround etc
Team Voodoo Gear knob (AMAZING highly, highly reccomended!)
USA style Red Miata badges
Custom shiny gauge panel with homemade AFR display, Vac gauge, Work in Progress...

And the rest!

Its far, far from some kind of amazing show car - its a daily driver, got all the scratches and wear to show it, and got 165000 km on the clock. Nice from 10 yards, kind of car. But then - its not bad, it cleans up well, its got a solid rust free shell and clean underside.

Its not that far from stock, and I like it that way. Not OTT, just the colour and wheels work well, it shines up well, and it makes me happy. I've done loads of mechanical work on it too, and I enjoy the whole ownership experience, as well as just driving it. Just fixing it, tarting little bits up, messing about with cheap little mods, keeping it nice. I've 'bonded' to it a lot, and the local owners a good bunch of lads too who I knock about with from Nutz every so often.

I'm not sure I want to ever own something thats just a car now. Which is why, despite its humble status, it will be really, really hard to find something to replace it one day.

All you can ask really.

(Excuse the rubbish phone picture!)

Mine (on the left) and my friends 5.

Mine is a supercharged 1.6, bought it a few weeks ago, struggling to keep my wallet away from buying mods at the moment! Been great fun so far.

Just bought my first 5 after spotting it on a driveway on my way home from working on ferraris and prosches. I looked at the Almera and just thought "I WANT ONE!!!"

Lovely wheels on that ncow82. And it's a great shame red ones are so common as it really is the best colour.

The Alps on the Furball down to the Lamborghini factory. Great place to play.
