Depends whether or not you're going to run one every day. Driven gently my S returns about the same MPG as thrashing the Eunos did. It's not as progressive as the Mazda, the turn in isn't as good and it has a very low ratio rack, but the feedback is superb (easily better than the Eunos), the straightline shove (particularly at higher speeds) is much greater and the noise is. I do miss that LSD and on greasy roundabouts though and a watertight hood, so contemplating getting another Eunos as a daily driver.
Err, back on topic, runniong costs really aren't that high. The consumables are mostly early '90s Ford bits. TVR specialists can be expensive, but they're quite easy to work on and there's great support on here.
