The Moose- Do I know you??
Anyway back on topic- I use Goodyear Eagle F1s on my 5 at the moment (GSD2s for 14") they were actually cheaper than the toyos in 14" size. very grippy but they seem slightly too soft for my liking with too much flex. i am now running at higher pressure 29psi much better but still not as much feel as the Bridgestone RE720s I have just come off (sadly no longer available)
choose well as poor tyres choise is really highlighted on the MX5. I should know I also had the Pirelli P6000s originally.

Quite possibly - who are you?!?! (PM me if you like!!)
By the sounds of things, the Goodyear Eagle F1s look like its the best way to go so I will get the Eagle F1s in 185/60/14 tomorrow.
