Thanks for your advice, I havent really had a good look at the lightenings. I might just do that, I really could do with a quad cab though as I have children and would like to use it for weekends and stuff.

Mac,

Then look at the Harley Davidson edition F150.....if its a new truck, go for either the Saleen supercharger option on the Harley Davidson or even the Saleen version of the F150. I think there are a couple for sale at the moment (might be single cab not sure).....

As mentioned, mine did the 1/4 in 14.03 secs with better runs to come once I get the hang of it....hehe

The Dodge has the styling just right, more Peterbilt than 90's pickup . The Ford looks a bit dull in comparison, regardless of performance IMHO.

Well, never had any SRT's make a try and definately never had any at the drag strip to run against...

Would be great to have a bit of badge beating between the Blue Oval and Dodge though.....

Of course would love the chance to prove you guys right...hehe

What planet are you on then son.
Till proven otherwise this will kick the ass of any SRT10.
At the dragstrip.
Traffic Light GP.
Open Road......

Not knocking the SRT10 as I think they are fantastic trucks and I have driven a few.
However the time slip proves otherwise. 10.92 @ 124 and low 12's on the "Street" as a daily driver.

Well it looks like the challenge is taken. A slightly modded Dodge Hemi steps up to the plate.
Don't worry about going up against Rick in his Lightning. You can race against my slightly modded F150 Harley Davidson.
4 doors, quite heavy, bit of an old pimpmobile really.

Any more Dodge owners out there willing to give it a go?

See you all on Sept 19th at Santa Pod and remember, in the words of Dale Winton, "You've got to be in it to win it" so don't forget to actually show up and be fast on the track and not just fast on the internet.

It's a general RWYB so there will be all sorts there.
We generally take a pit space up by the finish line so pop up and say hello.

Like the man said "Yes We Are Calling You Out" ..... 19th September RWYB Santapod

Bring your trucks up and race.
If you ain't got the balls bring your trucks anyway and I will put them
down the strip for you.
