our daughter is only little and so is in a car seat that reclines and has a large base so seems high up, but as she is only little it was fine, as she gets bigger she will get a different seat, which will be lower down. The camaro is only a two door car so i wouldn't recomend it as a every day family car, which is the same for the challenger, although the challenger does have more room. The most practical family car we've had so far would have to be the charger SRT-8. The pill box view was no problem for us, infact it's part of the charcter of the car.

Maybe so but when we hired a Charger in the US, part of the annoyance for the kids was not being able to see out very well due to the kick in the hips and I wondered iif the 300 might be slightly better.

Having gone from a fairly roomy 4th gen Z28 to a cramped in the rear Mustang, it seems that the camaro may have gone the same way as the Mustang in terms of rear room although the side windows ay well offer a slightly better view out.

Oh and here is the thread showing the two cars together (not mine, I hasten to add):

There was a new yellow Camaro parked next to an orange Challenger outside the Ace Cafe last night for Hot Rod night. First time I've seen both in the flesh. Ignoring the fact that both were fitted with those tasteless chrome 'way too large' wheels, the Challenger was by far the better looking of the two, the Camaro looked way too big and bulbous.
I also thought the Camaro's dash/console layout was hideous, although the quality of the materials used looked better than the Challenger's.

Where are the side-repeaters on that Camaro? I know the lighting was going to be done so it was invisible (and it is) - but I'm curious now!

Are there 2 engines options in the SS model? I've red that one is the 6.2ltr engine from the C6 Vette and the other a 400hp engine...what's this?

Did I miss something?

There are two V8 engines:-
With 6-speed manual transmission you get:-
LS3 6.2L V8 SFI with 426 bhp @ 5,900 rpm & 420 lb ft torque @ 4,600 rpm
With 6-speed electronic automatic transmission with tapshift you get
L99 6.2L V8 SFI 400 bhp @ 5,900 rpm & 410 lb ft torque @ 4,300 rpm
