My first ever import.
So, within 5 minutes of seeing it on eBay, I buy this car from a US classic car dealer.
A Jaguar. Or at least, the body of a 1960s Jaguar, on a 75 Chevy Monza floor pan, suspension and rear axle. The engine is a 350 SBC made 1986 on.
Beyond that, I don't have a lot of information on the build, or when it was built.
Yes, the build is a bit different, but boy it looks good and sounds the dog's.

In its US title document, it's a Jaguar, and externally it's indistinguishable from original, but I've a feeling the DVLA may not see it that way.

I fear I'm heading for a degree of aggro and a Q plate. But then, I see plenty of US-sourced hotrods over here that don't have a Q plate.

What's the best way to play it?

Mmmm yes, some advance research would have been a good idea. Unfortunately, one doesn't realise there might be a problem until it's too late.
I did try to join rods n sods a while ago, but their blue on black screen got the better of me. I'll have another go.
