Should Ford try again with the Thunderbird?

The last T-Bird probably wasn't really the success Ford had hoped (they wouldn't have dropped it otherwise)..........but, it's such an evocative nameplate I'd love to see them try again. This time though, I'd prefer them to emulate the slightly later models from around '63/'64, rather than the late '50s.

Would be nice if Ford decided to spin it off the Mustang platform.....but price it a bit higher, add all the toys, maybe give it a little more "perceived" quality. Keep the numbers low and the image up. The Mk1 just didn't try hard enough. I'm still glad they did try though.
Still, unless it'd make good profits, I can't see it happening
I agree we really need more stand-out designs on our roads which is why I can't wait to see more Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers over here.
