Difficult this one and sure to raise a great debate!

Omega : Ford - Mass produced, commonplace and aspire to be perceived as a luxury brand
IWC : Audi - both design driven, and very Germanic companies
Rolex : Porsche - a certain image, but undeniably good (marketing wink)
JLC : Ferrari - in-house craftsmanship

Hmmm... I'd equat Urwerk to something along the lines of the SSC Ultimate Aero. Just crazy interesting designs.

and the debate begins...

Do you really believe that Ford aspires to be perceived as a luxury brand? Here in the states they definitely do not. They focus on trying to be a "reliable" brand for the average person.

I always think of Rolex as Mercedes. The old man's car that everyone associates with being "rich." Not that they're the best at anything, but they have the marketing and the overall world perception that they are the thing to own if you've made it.

volkswagen-cartier, people buy them as they think there getting a cheap high quality watch (i.e. cheap but same as an audi) only to realise 6 months down the line they spent the same as they would of done on the proper version.

....don't agree with a few of those I'm afraid....
Porsche = Rolex (both made in-house, with a philosophy for gradual improvement)
Audi = Omega ( bought-in components, sometimes revised)
VW = Sinn (see above!)
Renault = Breitling ( flash-as-a-rat with a gold tooth)
Bentley = Glashutte Orig. ( old firm, now owned by bigger Co. producing quality goods)
Old Mercedes = A Lange & Sohn ( see above)
BMW = IWC ( Quality in-house designs, produced in large numbers)

Nah.

Project Kahn = Jacob & Co. Tasteless yet unfeasibly expensive.

So what watch would you equate to Morgan? I'm scratching my head a bit here. I guess it would have to use a proprietary ETA movement though.

Honda = Seiko

Always good quality. Perhaps a little too bland. Very wide range of values ie. Jazz to NSX.
