Neither woo nor indeed hoo. It's just always been right.

First-class choice, even if you do wear it in a manner that should get you cavity-searched at the airport.

He's probably holding a box of Milk Tray in the other hand.

Curse you! I've been resisting temptation ever since I found this thread. That was too much though.
How long did yours take to arrive?

Dunno but this is the G I'm interested in.
Big diff in price. Could it be one is atomic? Dunno what that exactly means but I've read some being atomic and others aren't and therefore cheaper.

Not much help I'm afraid
I'd say your right, the atomic ones do fetch considerably more, the codes are different too.

Atomic and solar put the price up - atomic means it syncs with national time signals so is always right, solar means solar power. All my G's have both and I'd avoid one without because I'm so used to not having to worry about them.

Can't pick up any signals here in BG for my MT-G waveceptor, but lots of sun for the tough solar side, so swings and roundabouts, I suppose! hehe

The expensive one says "Multi Band 6" at the top of the face. Also some slightly different bezel markings?

Yeah thought as much.

If you see in the ads, the more expensive one is in Japan and the cheaper one USA. Some atomic models are only sold in Japan according to a youtube review I watched.

TBH, I don't think I'd have a G-Shock that didn't have both, these days.

The Riseman I just bought (the non-smoky version) syncs with atomic clocks around the world. It's possible earlier ones would work only with the atomic clock where the watch was expected to be sold.

It's one hell of a price difference between the atomic and non-atomic ones though. And to be frank, it's a quartz digital watch; how far out can the time ever slip?

I really like the grey one, I think it's going on my list of future purchases.

So grey atomic Riseman.
What should you expect to pay for one?

The left one. I reckon it's pretty smart, might get myself one soon.

That one is the discontinued grey 'military-esque' one. It is a solar jobby, but not an atomic jobby. It's a little bit action man, but I love the chunky look.

To be fair, a couple of hundred looks about right.

My non-grey atomic Riseman was a bargain at £104 though - near enough half-price.

Edit: This is what that Riseman reminds me of..! hehe

These could be perfect for gadget lovers:

Connects to smartphones via Bluetooth to relay info from the phone to the watch's screen, such as received texts, emails, incoming calls etc. Other than that, seems to be a bog standard G-Shock available only in Japan in March.
