I got sick of watching and searching for a s/h Steinhart and as these are now going for just over list I just went for a new one. Here's a quick phone pic after unboxing and sizing....
How long were you for delivery out of interest? Ordered a watch from them in the middle of the week and waiting to hear back

Once I'd actually got the invoice it was quite good. Paid on the Monday, confirmation on the Wednesday, despatch on Friday, arrived Wednesday (Monday was a Bank Holiday).

There aren't many IWCs that I fancy, and very few that I'd wear, but the 3536 would be one of them.

Big all steel diver to something a little smaller and titanium? Should be interesting yes

Lovely looking one there - great choice, is it a 7733?

A real classic I think, the titanium one being king of the hill of course, be interested to see what you make of it.

Keeping both - just sometimes fancy a something else to the DSSD, it was either this or a Pelagos so if this doesn't get worn, that's the next port of call.

No longer have any Seamasters which seems strange and the Fifty fathoms is a bit to 'Haute Horology' for a knockabout diver.

Ah yes, I misread your post.

I think I'd do as you've done and pick the IWC; the chances are that it'd be broken in more so I wouldn't be so scared of wearing it, I love the Sinn like simplicity (no surprise given then link between the two brands), it already has classic status and you have that unique (I think) bezel action.

Having said that, I wouldn't kick a Pelagos out of the proverbial bed either.

Lewis - did I see on another thread that you've got an all gold Sub on the way in? I tried one on when I picked up my GMT from its service on wednesday. I'm not a yellow gold man but there was something 'right' about it!

Money in bank: check
Watch reserved at Watchfinder: check
Ability to get from Chiswick to Bank anytime soon: frown

I agree, there was just something... special about it! Most Rolex can be worn anywhere for anything, this one certainly couldn't laugh

You're not the first to have said that. I have never even seen one in the metal so this will be quite an exciting unveiling!

It will be with me Tuesday before 1pm smile
