I had the strap adjusted Saturday back at the Breitling shop, only one piece extra removed but fits better. As said in another thread, it's my first expensive watch that I've bought and so far so good.

Thought I'd try this on a brown strap.

That dial is amazing. I love a wood-grain / bark dial but that is something else.

Does it have a specific reference number so I can add it to the lottery win shopping list? lol

SLGH017 - or Night Birch.

The dial looks very different in different lights, ranges from pitch black to grey to slight hint of brown & the texture likewise changes.

I absolutely love it.

Thanks very much! Certainly not a 'bargain' in pure number terms but I think it is a much more interesting offering for the money than yet another Rolex tongue out lol

I love interesting dials that seem to change appearance as well, I find it gives a watch a lot of character! smile

I will be adding it to my fantasy shopping list biggrin

1861 Speedy today. Like the bracelet on the new ones but couldn’t justify the price of it from Omega. Pretty impressed with the Uncle Seiko US1479 bracelet for £110. Has scratched the itch and is really comfortable unlike the chunky old one with the male endlinks
