Thought I'd give the 2009 thread a bump as people are still posting in the 2008 thread smile

An excellent ABC watch for MTB and running. The storm alarm is also a great feature. I wear it most days now.

Just ordered the All Black version of this very watch today... will post pics when it arrives smile

I notice no ladies posting yet so thought I'd post pictures of mine and my wife's main watches.

Bloody nice kit, but all I could hear while looking at the vast array of PP's was "I am considerably richer than yaow!"

Congrats tho biggrin

That's all very well, but this is the thread for the watch you're wearing right now.

OOPS, Soory. Missed that. However, as you can see by the photo's, I took them one after the other all on my wrist (except for the wife's) so almost there.

I tend to wear the world time for work, the neptune for casual and the officers model for formal events and sometimes as a change for work. If I'm tinkering with the motorbikes or firearms training I tend to wear a citizen eco.

How well do they keep time? Are they chronometer standard?

Also, please show us the innards, if they've got display backs. I know that there's more than one sucker for a pretty balance cock around here (ooer! fnarr!).

Here is the back of the world time. The others do not have crystal backs.

They do seem to keep good time. I believe the standard to get the 'Geneve' accreditation is higher than the 'chronometer' standard although only watches made in Geneve can try to qualify.

Lovely collection you have there uk shooter. It's lovely to see a good amount of wear and tear on your watches. Proves that these exquisite pieces do get worn!

Thanks, I'm the same with my vehicles. I got stick from some quarters for putting over 20,000 miles on my series 3 aero last year. I have just got a series 4 (January 2nd)and have over 2,000 miles on it so far. I'm close to 100,000 on my 2000 Yamaha Venture.

Me too. I can only assume that there was web cache trickery making us think it worked.

The thing that gets me about this one is that it's a quartz movement, which is a bit hard to justify at the price they want for it IMO...
