he is only 18 but he already has 8 watches.
2 of which were left to him by his late grandfather.
any information and guidlines to price of them would be greatly appreciated.
lotus type 1 watch
marvin 18k gold watch (need info)
patek philipe steel dress watch (need info)
camel trophy watch
Breitling chronomatic with bullet link strap
armani tank watch
jean rousseau triad watch
he also has a replica breitling for bentley watch but his brother has it at the moment.
not bad for an 18 year old.

WOW! Not bad at all. Cant give you any info i am afraid on the watches you need information, do you know for certain that they are all genuine?? or where they have come from originaly?? If they are the real macoy then i would perhaps get them insured for a few quid as i know the patek philipe is valauble.
Good collection to build on as he gets older!!

All genuine with papers etc,and boxes. All were bought new apart from the Marvin which came from a collector in London.

I think the Chronomat is about £1200 in good nick, your son's looks a bit 'loved'.

The Golden Ellipse is worth the most but i've not seen one with the rim design your son's has. A good condition ellipse is perhaps £2,000 to £3,000 but as I said your son's looks different.

Without the model numbers, it's hard to tell.

Some nice stuff there, nice to see a more natural pic of that Lotus watch, the press pics were a bit iffy but I really like the look of it in that picture, I'm asking for that for next christmas me thinks.

It's a shame the Patek is quartz, but I would strongly advise hanging on to it.
In general, steel Pateks (other than the sports models) are of the hen's teeth variety.
A steel Calatrava form the 50s, for instance, is worth at least twice that of an otherwise identical 18k watch.
This may not be the case here - I'm not familiar with the 3931, but it's a fairly safe bet.
