ID this military watch?
Discussion
It's a Seiko 7A28-7120 or otherwise known as a seiko 1st generation RAF pilots watch. I think they were also issued to Fleet Air arm. You could also buy an identical civie version (without all the MOD stuff on the back)
The P on the front means the glowing bits were painted with mildly radioactive Promethium. Don't worry though, the gamma rays shouldn't leave the case.
On military watch dials, (T) is for Tritium, (L) is for Luminova, (M) is for Maraglo and (P) is for Promethium
I expect it's worth around £650 max.
To be worn with NATO strap for max RAFness
Here's a price guide thread to help valuation.

The number 6645-99-7583056 is a NATO stock number (NSN) which only identifies the item on an order form. Unfortunately there'd be no way to ID who it was issued to or when.
Is the 815484 a service number? (Not in forces, but sure my ex WSO housemate had his number stamped on the case - although that might have been post his MB tie present)Ian Lancs said:

So that backs up the Seiko serial number indicating this watch was made in January 1988 and then issued to the military in 1988.
