Ok, I know that when I was looking for my last watch, it came down to either the Night Monster, or a Traser Auto Pro Blue. The monster won and I love it, but it's a bit too chunky for work, so - whilst idly browsing around the web, I came across a couple of cheaper, thinner tritium-lumed watches (like the Traser, but not as pricey)

I'm torn between these two:

Military Watch Company G10 MkV

Comes on the Nato as in the pic, uses the same MB Microtec GTLS light sources as the Traser watches and doesn't look too shabby at all... Only costs £104.94 - Nice!

or, there's this one - a bit of a cheesy name mind...

Uzi - The Defender - UZI-001-N

Again, comes on the Nato strap, uses the GTLS light sources for lume (albeit only 12, 3, 6 and 9 it would appear) and is a bargain for the price... £59.91

Yes they're both quartz, and yes they're just cheap and cheerfuls... but my Sekonda is hacking me off, so I want a new "work watch" and GTLS lume gives me the radioactive horn!

I'm erring towards the first one as it looks a bit more substantial, but would welcome any opinions on either! £100-ish is my absolute upper limit for a work watch and I really REALLY want one that has GTLS smile

Pesty, what model is that - its just what I'm after!!

Point taken about MWC quality, I'll have to have another look at the Traser website.

Ouch, yeah - just a tad more than I was looking at!!!

I'm looking at this at the minute though... it's only £40 more than the MWC one, and is a genuine Traser...

I like the 5900, I must admit. To be honest though, after seeing Pesty's wrist shot of the Pro BD, I'm thinking about saving some cash this month as that one looks to be exactly what I want!

The Luminox ones look like monster-a-likes, which isn't a bad thing but I already own a monster, so want something that looks different - good shout on them though smile
