got home today from a day out, walked into the kitchen and felt something touch my hand - looked down and it was my SDDS!

basically one of the screw links had completely worked itself out and the watch was free to fall.

firstly two things to be thankful for - firstly it happened at home (I had a heavy coat on most of the day so there is a possibility I might not have felt it fall off) and secondly I caught it before it hit the floor.

on the down side - this is not a cheap watch and this really should not happen - I was lucky to find the pin and have not screwed it in with a bit of threadlock.

mind you it did happen to me a few years ago with a Tag - i wrote them a polite letter and they basically told me to sod off as the bracelet is not covered by the warranty.

not sure whether to make a fuss of this - is it worth it?
