£300 max budget...
Discussion
Hello-
Sent my Planet Ocean off today for it's first service having worn it daily for coming on 6 years.... Not looking forward to the bill!
My wrist feels rather empty and as it will be a few weeks before the Seamaster is back, I am tempted to treat myself to something different.
I am currently wearing my Patek Phillipe (£16 from Beijing!) that hasn't been worn for nearly 3 years and I am fairly amazed that it works- so keen to sort something out quickly before it breaks...
So, what to get:
Budget = £300 (MAX!)
Non bracelet strap
I absolutely love IWC type designs
Not interested in designer brands- I want something that will last & wont date.
Must admit I like the look of Jorg Gray 6500...
What about Hamilton & Christopher Ward or anything else.
Open to suggestions....
Cheers!

Beijin Patek Phillipe now broken and showing no signs of life.... Becoming seriously tempted to go for Tissot PRC 200...
Fancy classic look- light face on brown leather as different to my PO...
Question is, do I go for automatic non-chrono @ £245 delivered- or quartz chrono @ £195 delivered...?
Tempted to go plain as seriously tempted by a nice Speedmaster on black leather at some stage when funds allow....
If I go that way, would then have PO Divers, Tissot Auto 'classic' & Nice Chrono (Speedmaster)....
Any thoughts?

Popped out at lunchtime and looked in a few windows... Must say I have taken rather a shine to Tissot for the money... Tried a few on and really like the feel of the Visodate.... Pretty impressed by the quality.
They wanted £365 on the High Street- but found this deal onh-line and should be with me tomorrow:

Really quite excited!

I must say that I am seriously chuffed with my Tissot Visodate... It has led to many complimentary observations from people who have been genuinely surprised by the quality for the price...
One of my mates (who drives a Rolex Sub), actually said 'bl**dy-hell Dave, have you bought yourself an IWC...!' To be fair, that was only after a glance.
Not necessarily saying go for Visodate, depends on personal preference. But Tissot are definitely worth a look for quality & price.
