I could have sworn I saw that numberplate on a BMW Z8 on the A41 a few years ago.

I'm in Watford, the A41 side.

Hope not Tom!!

I'm just off St Albans Road near homebase - great for stumbling home from town, terrible for getting parked.

That Z8 was POP 8Y, I'm pretty sure. He has had a couple of Ferraris since the Z8. Used to see it in Edgware most days on my way to work.

Mine (based in Hertford but used to be in Ware).

My dad's. He is in Maidenhead so just outside this area meet but said he will come along to any meets (especially since I told him that there may be his favourite car ever in attendance even if in replica form - Stratos)

And his old car (gatecrashing an MR2 meet)

I've seen that NSX around Watford a few times near Costco. Lovely.

Should probably add the new toy to this. I think this is the third car I've posted on this thread now!

Ware/Hertford people will probably recognise the usual photo spot!

Been on here about a year now so thought it about time i shared some pics of my oak green Mk2 16v,

Pretty much my pride and joy, and a bit of a 'minter' in my totally biased opinion!

Beautiful car. What is the MR2 like to drive in comparison to the Gallardo? I accept it is a race prepared one and I have the Mk1 which is different again but I drove a Gallardo last year on a track day and the instructor concentrated on teaching me driving techniques that I could transport onto the MR2 which I really valued.

I will let you know once I have had a proper chance to enjoy the MR2, it was a recent purchase and has been with a race car builder for the last 6-8 weeks. I take it on Silverstone this sunday, which I have also taken the Lambo around so should have some comparison after that.

MR2 is incredible value for money IMHO, in the short time I have driven mine it has felt nicely planted and been great fun, so affordable too! The reason I bought an MR2 is due to the cost and risk of taking the Lambo on track..

You never know I might let you try the MK1 one day as a comparison (my OH doesn't get a go in it but he drives a Vectra so I am not confident of him with it) seeing as you are in Hertfordshire too. I have never driven a Mk2 but they are meant to be quite different (lightweight excellent handling versus more weight and more power).
