Was going to try and lure my boss out again. He has a 911 of the same sort of vintage as yours and has been tantalising all of us by parking it outside the office recently. Livens up the car park.

Thanks for the route plenty and for organising what looks to be the most interesting run yet. Some of those roads are becoming more familiar to me as I now frequent them on a Sunday morning on my bicycle. Even tho the route heads out my way, I may as well come for the start and give the jalopy time to warm up!

Route looks like good fun not sure whether to give it a recce in advance or not - I enjoyed "seeing where the road takes you" on the last run, going through areas I hadn't been before, but on the other hand some of the roads caught me out a bit which I'd like to be better prepared for. Hmm...

Ooooo A507, good choice!!!! I'd recommend anyone who isn't familiar with the road to have a reccy run before Sunday; there are a few nasty corners on that road. It's a fantastic drive.

My friend doesn't wanna do the run cause he isn't sure he could keep up, I know he loves this road though so I'll talk to him. I don't wanna miss being in a convoy driving down there.

I'm thinking of driving this time rather than owen, but don't want to hold up/get lost as I'm a bit more aprehensive about speed limits so if your friend wanted to drive I'd be happy to keep to the back!

The hoon looks awesome. Some of those roads are pretty narrow, though, so before recceing and taking down pace notes please bear in mind that if you can't see round the corner there could be a tractor or an early morning dog walker stood there.

Things not looking so good for me.

Discovered front caliper is binding badly, struggling to get it fixed in time for Saturday.

Will see how I go and still try and make it there, the whole wheel got hot the last time I used the car, not good.

Hi everyone,

Looks like a great run with a fantasic line up of cars and only round the corner from me.

If the weather is dry I am hitching a lift with Dunlop - Lotus Exige if not they I will bring my car Skoda Octavia VRS.
