Had a great drive up in convoy with the red 599 (lovely car Mark, stop bloody worrying!).
On top of having just received an email shot last week from Colchester Maserati about a current 0% finance deal on the Maserati GT Mrs msdes123 caught me looking at Maserati's in the classifieds last night after seeing your car up close, now that was something to get worried about! Absolutely stunning machine with real world usable rear seats. Hope to see it again next year at an Essex meet when the weather starts warming up again. TFJJ said:

Highlight for me in real world car terms was the LS7 engine'd Tuscan. It was an absolute credit to the owner and exactly the car the Tuscan should always have been,
Very nice but the seats looked like torture and I wondered if the brakes match the engine ? I was surprised how big the discs are on some of the cars there.Edited by blade7 on Tuesday 3rd December 14:30

Thanks for the comments on the LS7 Tuscan chaps
Just to fill in the gaps, the conversion was pretty comprehensive to the extent it runs a different g/box and strengthened propshaft/driveshafts. The ancillaries are all new and it runs a GM ECU plus FBW throttle.
I run standard brakes but some more aggressive pads...I did look into running bigger brakes but the company who did the conversion (Topcats Racing) advised against despite it meaning more money in their coffers...the car is nominally heavier than standard (still well under 1200kg with a full tank) so more likely we'd have problems getting them up to operating temperature in normal use. Did anyone spot the front discs on the P1 BTW?
I actually find the seats v.comfortable on long trips and that's with a back condition I can neither spell or pronounce
It's not a unique car, there are several (>10) conversions to a number of different TVR models using LS3 or 7, so you know where to go if you want one
