Clophill 3rd sunday Meets - 21.4.2013

hi all

just a reminder that the clophill meets are the third sunday of every month now.
unfortunately, i won't be able to make this one at all, but sticking to the plan, meet goes on.

many thanks to those that came to the last one. shuttleworth wasn;t done, if people wish to head there after on the 21st, i can call and arrange a group discount and reserved parking...

I assume it might actually be more than 4 deg. and not snowing this time

I'm definitely up for a meet and a run, not sure about Shuttleworth though. If others want to go, I can always run down there with them and then just carry on to home from there.

yes, event is on, unfortunately i have a family thing on, but i am not essential... you guys are, and the fly are putting on bacon rolls.....

Err, do you mean the Dove House meet clashes with the Clophill meet IN MAY ? I think the idea is to combine those 2 on the 19th May now.
But this is the APRIL meet we're talking about here ^

Peter aranged the breakfasts with the fly last time, I haven't sorted breakfast since the Live and Let Live and the first couple of meets last year. From talking the Guys at the Fly they're always up for doing some sort of breakfast so long as they know we're coming and they got a rough idea on numbers

I spoke to Alex at The Fly today and he wasn't aware that we were meeting there next weekend as it hadn't been confirmed. He also said that 10.30am is a little late as he will need the car park clear by 11.30am ready for his Sunday lunch crush. I said I will call him to confirm what we want to do so options seem to be:

- Meet earlier than 10.30am and spend a little longer there (may be able to get butties on this option - but may depend on #s attending)
- Meet at 10.30am and only stay there for about an hour (butties unlikely)
- Meet elsewhere or just go for a run next week and choose a pub on the run route

Please let me know preferences (and numbers attending) so that I can call Alex (unless Ben, Pete, Mohan or other wishes to call Alex instead).
