It's time for another local meet!

As per usual, the North London meet will actually be a good few miles north of London in leafy Hertfordshire. We shall be meeting at around 10 am on Sunday 6th May at The Cowper Arms in Letty Green (in between Hatfield and Hertford).

It's about 15 minutes away from the Potters Bar junction of the M25 and it's also a good rural starting point for a morning's hoon if anyone wants to go on a pre-meet drive.

http://www.thecowperarmscolegreen.co.uk/

Directions
The scenic route from Potters Bar/A1000: Follow the A1000 north as Potters Bar gives way to Brookmans park. Go past the traffic lights for the B157 junction and about 150yds further up there's a turning to the right signposted 'Essendon B158'. Follow this road into the village of Essendon (about 3.5 miles) and out the other side. After you leave the village and the road returns to NSL you want to take the second road on your left. It's a very sharp turn and it's unsignposted. After that you want to keep following the road to Letty Green, through the village and out the other side. The pub is on your right immediately after you pass underneath a railway bridge.

From the A1/A414: Take the A414 (heading east if you're coming from the A1) until you come to a roundabout (the 3rd I think) signposted Cole Green and Birch Green. After you pass through a couple of traffic islands there's a signpost on the the right to Letty Green. Follow this road (if you overshoot it there's another turning about 50 yds later) and the pub is on your left about 1/4 mile later.

(Neither way is as complicated as it sounds, I promise. The post code is SG14 2NL, but some sat navs do have trouble locating it!)

The Cowper Arms will be open and will be offering their delicious bacon sarnies as per usual.

Plenty has graciously agreed once more to arrange one of his extremely popular pre-meet runs that morning.

I've arranged for the weather to be sunny and warm & Chris71 has arranged to have both of his cars in pieces in his garage again (probably).

So, come and join us on the 6th. We don't care what you come along in. We're a friendly bunch and all are welcome!

Please add your name to the list. If you fancy getting up at an ungodly hour and going on Plenty's excellently planned run, then add the word 'RUN' after your name.

Attendees.

1. Blib - Maserati 4200CC.

This will be my first pistonheads meet and run :-) I'll try and keep up
[pedant]We're not officially anything to do with Pistonheads. We just 'borrow' their website every so often.[/pedant]

But, at the rate we're growing, meet on meet, we'll soon be bigger that their Sunday Service *

* For 'soon' read 'never in a million years'.

Excellent lurking, arctic monkey! And, thanks for joining up. Plenty will be asking for the 'runners' to contact him nearer the day. He will then send details of the run out.

Keeling54, Sexige, Wooders, Arctic Monkey & Boydie88 . When you arrive on the Sunday, can you park neatly in a line?

I'm thinking of fitting elise/exige/220 seats in my Hawk and I'd like to check out what they're like and do some measuring. Yes, it's all about me!!!

Thanking you.

biggrin

All are welcome to the meet. The more the merrier!

As for the run, Plenty emails details of the route to the runners through their Pistonhead accounts. They have to contact him first so that he knows who's who. So, I suggest you email him.

Not quite up to the last meet's numbers yet. Though, it is a Bank holiday weekend. So, I expected the numbers would be down.
