Part of the Heritage Flight.

Look at the time slots. They aren'y going to spend over half an hour doing flybys.....

You'll likely get a couple of passes in each direction of the 3 x a/c together, then likely individual solo displays by each in turn.

I'm going on sunday- thank you so much for posting the flight times.

Does anyone have any top tips for a first timer? i'm taking my 15 year old nephew- last time I went to an airshow was when I was 15!

thinking about aiming to get there for 0830, and taking comfy shoes and sunnies.

Should I take my full on ear defenders or will ear plugs be enough- do I need anything?

I've been going since 1976 and never felt the need for ear defenders or any sort, although the Harrier used to test that a bit.

Not sure what the weather forecast is but if rain forecast then protection of some sort, there's no where much to go if it tips down.

I find good walking boots the best for comfort, you'll be doing a lot of walking. Stay hydrated. When Mum and Dad took as as kids we went laden down with hampers and all that kind of impedimenta. Nowadays I travel light and just buy what I need on the day, much easier.

Get there at 7, TRUST ME

You will be stuck in traffic for an hour or two if you get there at 8:30

What is Friday traffic like, we are hoping to pass through to see the F35, clash with a stag do this year!

Arrival around 11am, stay until F35 and then go, parking up near Whelford for viewing.

Is this going to be pointless??? Cant afford to get there any earlier really. Normal camp for the weekend at RIAT. Gutted not going.

Or I got there at 7 am and slept through breakfast

You've asked this already. If you aim to be in the area for 7-8am you should be close by around 11am.

Any vaguely reliable weather forecasts doing the rounds? I'm not liking the look of the BBC forecast for Sunday so would like another one!
