Brilliant display at Dunsfold yesterday. The crew really showed off her manoeuvrability. And the noise - Fabulous.
Took this video on my phone yesterday, brilliant display and throwing her about quite a bit. Awesome noise too smile

Very good video from a smart-phone. The angle of turn was amazing - beyond 90 degrees for sure.

Just flew directly over mine at what could only have been 2-3 thousand feet. Heading is a SW direction. I live in East Sussex, near Uckfield.

Looked and sounded stunning. Saw it yesterday too at Carfest. Just fantastic, so glad that it is still flying.

Thanks, have a great show.
I went to the Little Gransden show on Sunday, thank you for a fab show! I enjoyed it far more than the 2 days I spent at Farnboro this year and it was great to see the Vulcan(and all the others) so loooow!

Thanks, difficult to hold steady though.
It did look like the pilot was tempted to roll it towards the end but changed his mind!
I guess those kind of aerobatics probably wouldn't do much for it's ageing airframe...

I always envisage at her last show before being grounded sometime in the near future a pilot rolls it, lands the plane, chucks his licence at a nearby convenient CAA official and walks of.

IIRC, from a post on 'pprune' a few years back by an ex-Vulcan pilot, the 90+ deg wingover routine doesn't actually consume much FI.

I was helping run a kids rugby camp at Christ Hospital school yesterday when it went over 3 times (twice out to Dunsfold as it circled over us...then once on the way back) along with a Lanc and I'm guessing a Phantom. Was funny to see 80+ kids just stop and gawp at the sky (as did all the coaches and parents)

It was very low, VERY fast and VERY loud and heading towards Dunsfold on the same flight path as the Vulcan half an hour later. Tornado?

Tornado GR4. They had two in the role demo at Dunsfold. The Phantom went out of RAf service many years ago dear boy. Do please keep up.

A quick look at the show display list would indicate that it was, indeed, a Tornado GR4.
