It's not a proper aircraft, it has a joystick Do you find it awkward doing it left handed when you're a right handed person......

Well, I'll defend the bus where possible, but you've got a point there. The crosswind is fine, its the odd decent gust when you run out of sidestick momentarily that makes it interesting.
Read your FCOM FCBs!!
(ETA for non Bus bods, the A/C has more than enough roll authority in the landing config to deal with crosswinds and is capable of of up to 15deg/s to say the left, even if mother nature rolls you at 25deg/s to the right. IE max 40deg/s capable. I've never had a problem despite hitting the stops a few times.
Infact, Airbus quite rightly point out due to control wheel inertia on other types and the fact your arms have to move further to reach the stops - my own thoughts, with the sidestick the Bus can reach max roll rate faster than conventional types).
2nd edit,thought I'd best drop a photo in..

I was trying to sound gracious and not come across like a defensive Airbus loving prick.
Oh I forgot, forums are for arguments, apologies.

Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the coolest sights you get from an aircraft, I love flying at night.
One of the few his of Ryan air: trying to get a window seat on the side of the plane you guess will give you the best view from being on which way you think the wind is blowing. Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
