I'm keeping it on the Thames whilst I get the hang of it, then further afield once I'm more confident. Pictures will be next week as its still wrapped up.

I'll keep you posted

Whereabouts? Tidal or upstream? Spent lots of time at St Kat's, Cadogan Pier and up at Hampton Court in the 80's and Early 90's. Was even a member at TMYC.

Or are you joining the Romford Navy wink

I bought the boat from Penton Hook and they've been brilliant thus far. I'm staying there until Aril at least.

What's the Romford navy? Sounds cool smile

I sat next to you at the Huayra launch in Milan and remember asking you if you were into anything else such as boats or planes.

At that time you said you weren't so what changed your mind?

I'm sure you'll have a great time in the SC35, i was very impressed when i looked around one at last year's Southampton Boat Show, the layout and interior to my mind are 1st class.

From the outside i agree that they might not look as nice as some other boats (Fairline Targa) but from where you'll be on the inside i haven't seen anything to beat it.

If you want some recommendations on where to explore in the Solent let me know.

What are you going to call her and if i see you i'll give you a race - you may have the 4x wheel speed advatage but i'll have the nautical one!
