FG, are you on the tvoc forum too?
I am, but very rarely post there.

Lovely blue sky this morning, I would really like to leave work now and drive up to Brunters.

so can anyone go? i've got nothing to do today... can you get in, or is it a case of finding somewhere to park outside?
You can't get in to the airfield itself, but there's plenty of roads nearby.

I've just had a report that it's already flown this morning! The source is unreliable though. rolleyes
I've not heard anything... and we normally do where we are. Will have to take a quick drive out in a bit smile

I was there this monday (for something unrelated) and the plane was an awesome sight.

I wasn't aware it was the only one left in a 'flyable' condition, and this is only after many years of hard work by the people there.

The pilot was apparently a really good bloke (It was a friend that actually spoke to him) but having seen the wiring in the plane he must be very very brave as well!!

The Diner there does great food at a very reasonable price as well wink
