They need an inanimate carbon rod to wedge it with!


Anyone like the huge pause when the white room guy said, the handrail will stop it hitting the orbiter, then the guy pipes up saying, what about the vibration loading ............you could just imagine him looking at his guys and mounting "WTF is he on about....?!??!" hen er er er er!!

Shuttle launch is live on Fox news too, sky ch509 (although they've just gone to an ad break). Lacking the errm technical errm insight!

They just showed the inner white door flapping about on Fox, it's a fking big metal doorframe. Better be a mighty strong handrail.

Fox news now with NASA tv sound feed. Web is about 50 seconds behind live

maybe we need to put it to a vote but my gut feel is that we should admit the driver to the PH massive?? (OK.. I know he's a seppo but I'm sure exceptions can be made)
