Depends how you count it, the large oil tankers don't actually have much more steel in them than the US Super Carriers. Most of the mass of the oil tankers is unsurprisingly oil.Very impressive engineering though, here's a pic build log of one of our carriers currently being built.

These new floating production platforms on the other hand are truly massive.
