3 small jets...
Discussion
... have flown low and fast over my house three times this afternoon, in a tight triangular formation, heading west towards the Gower.
I live in Swansea so aerial activity by the RAF is certainly not unheard of but the jets I am seeing this afternoon I have not seen before. All three are the same. Relatively slim bodies with something underneath each wing and the tail appears to be elevated above the level of the wings. Presumably they are doing 'laps' of the area as they have gone overhead from the same direction each time with each 'lap' being about an hour apart.
Anybody got any ideas? Apologies for the lack of good information but I'm not really up on my jets
I shall try to answer any questions as accurately as I can, if anybody has any

They sound like L29 Delphins.
When I was home there this time last year there was a Swansea bay air show, they're not practising for that are they?
Bloody hell, it could well be those actually! When I was home there this time last year there was a Swansea bay air show, they're not practising for that are they?
Unfortunately the air show is every other year and we had one last year Happens the second week of July (aroundabouts anyway) if you are interested
Thanks very much !
Could be falcon 20 from chobham flight, have seen 6 in formation ,they are used as intruders against the RAF and royal navy ,the pods on the wing I think are ecm pods.
