Hi all,

Planning on a short holiday in Spain, on a caravan site, near a beach.

Can I use my inflatable dinghy, with outboard in the "inshore" areas?

Some one said I need to have licence, and register the dinghy.

Only going to be there 2 weeks.

I was thinking the licence and registration, would be for local Spanish boats maybe?

I believe you need the ICC and boat's papers (SSN, vhf licence etc). But best ask on the boats forum or a forum like Ribnet.

Boating in Continental Europe is very heavily regulated and local police have regular inshore patrols to check compliance.

As long as the engine's under 15HP you're OK. Anything more and you need all sorts of documents, insurance, ICC etc

Hi Guys,

So if I stick to some thing like a 3,5 meter inflatable dinghy, and only fit up to a 15hp on, then I swill be OK?

Is there any limit on inflatable boat length?
