Thought I recognised him, I flew with his outfit last year in kissimee in their harvards, he was lead pilot, I was student in the second ship. Great guy, anyone out in Florida can recommend warbird-adventures

Obviously their mass take off procedure needs some refining. I expect that the guy coming from behind could not see straight ahead because of the tailwheel/nose up stance of his plane.

He's not in shock yet but will be when he sees the video. Someone's in for a serious dressing down I wonder if the other plane took off still or abandoned to check damage etc

It does not make it into the air and can be seen in the background belly down with no legs.

Just watched on computer so more detail. If it wasn't for the body hump behind him it would have ended very differently. You can see the other wing ride up it!

And evidently didn't see the red flag. (Radio would be quicker, as in 'Don't take off!')

I took it that just wanted to make sure he wasn't to blame for a near disaster! I don't blame him.
