Yes, Concorde did do this........ but never in-out of Mildenhall.
It certainley did from the RIAT Fairford shows, and I remember an Air France one doing this at a RAF Finingley Battle of Britain show in 1992 - the same show as the last shows of Vulcan XH558 when in RAF use.
I've done a little Googling and found this:It certainley did from the RIAT Fairford shows, and I remember an Air France one doing this at a RAF Finingley Battle of Britain show in 1992 - the same show as the last shows of Vulcan XH558 when in RAF use.

Amazing, chartered Concorde for the day (and Dad's memory isn't gone completely!)

Remember it very well, as my Dad was in Mildenhall Rotary Club at the time and we went on one of the flights.
They offered two routes, one over the Bay of Biscay that went supersonic, and another to Gatwick.
It was fantastic, remember a rumour that the Captain got a bit of a ticking off for flying too low over Mildenhall!
You were local to me then, I grew up in Brandon They offered two routes, one over the Bay of Biscay that went supersonic, and another to Gatwick.

Which route did you travel? I thought I remembered Dad saying they flew out to the Bay of Biscay but I wasn't sure. It must have been amazing! Sadly I was too young to experience Concorde
