Speed limit on Windermere for Boat Piston Heads

There is currently a petition on the 10 Downing St website to get the speed limit on Windermere squashed. An appeal is going in against the decision in March not to squash it. Please sign this for the good of all those who like speed on water and the fun that goes with it.

You're missing the whole point. A lot of the boats that enjoyed the lake aren't sea going boats. Also the sea is filthy and there aren't the facilities that Windermere has to offer so no I won't go out to sea!
