Popeyes is crap in the UK. It is marginally better than KFC. It’s a shame because they both could be so good with a couple of tweaks and some care
I actually think that Popeyes is worse. I had it twice and been disappointed both times. I still love a zinger tower burger. I tried Chick Fill A over in the states last year and thought that was good. NSNO said:

the best I've had was in the swan at ascott under wychwood as a bar snack last year, but appreciate doesn't help here.
didn't you mention chik fil a is actually coming despite previous opposition, to the uk soon? maybe it will fill that gap?

My KFC intake has probably reduced to once every 9 months. Went in to KFC over Easter to order a meal for Vikingette1 and I. The 8 piece boneless banquet was showing as unavailable on the kiosk, yet the larger and more expensive 12 piece was available. [insert huge amount of cynicsm].

When I went to order via the kiosk, there actually was no chicken available. Burgers, wraps etc, but no boxes/buckets/troughs of chicken. At KFChicken.Spoke to the girl at the counter who rolled her eyes and said the machines weren’t very good.
