Day off today to get some work on the mini van done.

Thought i'd start the day with 2 slaps of black pudding and a fried egg.

Pixel Pusher went from the sublime to the ridiculous. Spaghetti and egg?!

Dibble's effort had everything, and looks absolutely stunning.

I'm going to have a crack at making my own bacon this weekend and will report back with the results and photos.

Making Bacon, my favourite past time! You do realise that outside of missed slang meanings, promising photos of something potentially tricky you've not done before makes you a hostage to fortune?

Looking forward to the results AJS. wink

I suppose it does, but a bit of pressure might actually spur me on to doing this rather than just idly thinking about it.

I'll shamelessly post the results, however disastrous, on the thread I just started, and only post them here when I get it right.

(Assuming I don't die of botulism in the process!)

This is what I don't understand. Paul Foster is head chef there, we ate in the restaurant the night before (Red Fallow Deer was wonderful - see post photo of your dinner thread) everything was lovely, except those scrambled eggs.

sausage looks anaemic too. Perhaps the breakfast chef was hungover?

The dinner did look stunning after all.
