Tinned tomatoes V fresh? Well Iv'e always preferred whole tinned tomatoes on a full English based on taste and texture and never bothered about any nutritional issues. As an avid Radio 4 listener in work this came on that shored up my view...................

Totally agree, plus, the juice is lovely to dip your bread in. When ordering a bacon and egg sarnie at the local sandwich shop, dipping the 'lid' in the plum tomatoes gives you the taste, and is less hazardous than a full plum tomato squirting out all over your shirt as you take your first bite! Egg yolk broken beforehand as well! With Age, comes Wisdom! in the important things!Tinned tomatoes V fresh?
