Cooking comp # 22 - Pasta

As I'm on a diet which prohibits mid week carbs after 14:00, I will not be participating
I have thought about that as well.. I'm on a diet and pasta is way too carbie, But as a compromise you could simply make a smaller version of the dish.. purely for the competition and then give it to the wife or dog.. not intentionally calling my wife a dog..
Right I'm going to start the ball rolling..
I cooked this last weekend and photographed it. I didn't like the results that much, not in taste. It actually tasted lovely .. I love it. But in terms of how it looks, its a bit simple, I thought being PH's it would need to be more adventurous or meat based. Maybe next time.
As I won't get time to make anything else or photograph it.. and there is no other suitable thread to post it in.. I'm going to put it in here anyway.. so.. here goes.
A very simple pasta dish
Its a variation on Jamie Oliver's Spaghetti Puttanesca. I don't like spaghetti so I used fettucini.
De Cecco fettuccine all'uovo is the dry pasta.. I think its one of the best.
Cans of Tuna in olive oil
Anchovies
garlic
Passata
pitted black olives
chilli
lemon
flat leaf parsley
olive oil
Anchovies, olives. tomatoes, chilli's garlic.. all sweated and broken down, add tuna and stir, squeeze fresh lemon in to taste.
Mix in Fettucini and torn flat leaf parsley
Carefully plate up a child's portion to photograph

Ok here is mine, and actually on time too
Chilli vodka and coriander pesto pasta with spicy sausage and garlic and rosemary sticks
The ingredients for the pesto (+garlic as I forgot to add that before the pic was taken)
The finished pesto
And served up with an extra shot of home made chilli vodka

What do people want to do as we only had 3 entry's!
Leave it at the 3 and move on with the voting/new comp?
Or extend it by a week?
If I was to extend it how Many of you would enter?

Good Friday had to be fish, Easter Sunday lamb - pasta for the holidays just wasn't on my menu...sorry
More likely now children are back at school, chaps are back at work etc.
Late entry from me, only remembered this thread when I was mid cooking so didn't get a photo of the ingredients...
